Lineup Systems held its inaugural User Conference in London this week.
Over 70 attendees travelled from Europe, Scandinavia, Canada, USA and across the UK to hear a series of presentations and discussions given by Lineup, customers and external speakers.
The two day agenda included presentations on programmatic advertising, Lineup’s latest innovations and transformational advertising strategy and throughout the event Lineup’s development team were available for direct dialogue.
The conference made a clear contribution towards creating a valuable knowledge sharing and communications forum for the Lineup user community and further spin off meetings between clients are planned to continue the progress made.
Lineup puts customer communication and engagement at the core of its strategic development and product roadmap and encourages client involvement in influencing the company’s progress. Attendees welcomed the opportunity to give feedback and ask questions of the management, deployment and development team.
Anam Hussain, Business Services Director of News UK’s Commercial division, presented to the audience on his experience of working with Lineup while leading the Technology programme that delivered AdPoint implementation and now as the Commercial owner of the service.
He commented: “Lineup’s first User Conference has been a great success in bringing users from all over the world together, allowing us to share common experiences, challenges and solutions. I’ve met peers from other media companies and it’s been extremely beneficial to establish direct communication channels with them – we have resolved to maintain regular contact and even organise visits to each other’s office”.
