Lineup Systems held its inaugural user conference in London this week.
Over 70 attendees traveled from Europe, Scandinavia, Canada, the US, and across the UK to hear a series of presentations and discussions given by Lineup, customers, and external speakers. The two day agenda included presentations on programmatic advertising, Lineup’s latest innovations, and transformational advertising strategy. Throughout the event, Lineup’s development team were available for direct dialogue. The conference made a clear contribution towards creating a valuable knowledge sharing and communications forum for the Lineup user community and further spin off meetings between clients are planned to continue this progress.
Lineup puts customer communication and engagement at the core of its strategic development and product roadmap, and encourages client involvement in influencing the company’s progress. Attendees welcomed the opportunity to give feedback and ask questions of the leadership, deployment, and development teams.
Anam Hussain, Business Services Director of News UK’s Commercial division, presented to the audience on his experience of working with Lineup while leading the technology program that delivered Adpoint implementation and now as the commercial owner of the service.
He commented: “Lineup’s first user conference has been a great success in bringing users from all over the world together, allowing us to share common experiences, challenges and solutions. I’ve met peers from other media companies and it’s been extremely beneficial to establish direct communication channels with them – we have resolved to maintain regular contact and even organize visits to each other’s office”.
