In the last 20-years he has built, transformed, and managed consulting, professional services, technical services, and security organizations at Siemens, Grass Valley, and Lineup Systems. As Chief Information Officer, he now oversees Lineup’s technical and deployment teams.

Three things to know about Rob

Rob’s first job out of college was cleaning a canal, standing up to his chest day after day in dirty water. This incentivized him to use his IT qualifications, instead of his sanitation skills.

Rob spotted the arrow in the FedEx logo very early on, but only recently learned that the smile in the Amazon logo goes from A to Z. Rob loves logos.

Rob has three dogs, and over the years has owned rabbits, hamsters, cats, snakes, lizards, and turtles. But not spiders. Never spiders.

Rob is also responsible for compliance and security, including internal information security, adherence to international standards, the attainment and maintenance of audits & certifications and regulatory compliance.

Without Rob, the Lineup team wouldn’t sleep as soundly at night. Having brought in ISAE3402 and ISO27001 compliance, transformed the security strategy of the company, and constantly trained everyone in cyber security matters, he has ensured the whole team can spend their time worrying about other things!
